Flying Hat

This faux fur flying hat is also known as an aviation hat or trapper’s hat.

This style of fur lined hat was adopted by early aviators to protect against the cold whilst flying open cockpit planes. Hats of this style were also popular with hunters and trappers in cold climates as it provides excellent protection against the elements with cheek flaps that are secured under the chin. This modern take on the classic style is made with a faux fur lining and cotton exterior. The faux fur provides excellent insulation and heat retention and is a great option for those expecting to be outdoors in cold weather environments for extended periods of time. The chin flaps can be secure over the crown of the hat or under the chin by way of quick release side clips.
