Mess Trousers stripe. The mess trouser stripe is a single scarlet stripe. For SGT to LTCOL, excluding RSM–A and Tier C RSMs, it is 2 cm in width. For those entitled to wear the Senior Ranks Mess Dress, the width of the stripe is 4 cm.

Most have a 2cm (actually measures about 2.5cm) while some have the 4cm stripe
