AN/PRC 152 Underwing Radio Carrier by SORD

The SORD AN/PRC 152 Underwing Radio Carrier is a low-profile radio holder designed to position a communications radio beneath the cummerbund of compatible body armour. The design keeps the radio close to the body while protecting the screen and maintaining separation between the GPS antenna and ballistic plate. Available in Short and Long configurations, it provides flexible access and retention without adding unnecessary bulk.

Features

• Low-profile design positions the radio beneath the cummerbund
• Designed for carriers with a Velcro sandwich cummerbund with pile to the front
• Radio can be inserted and removed from either the top or bottom
• Side connector access is maintained for compatible radio configurations
• Compatible with battery eliminators/splitters in both Short and Long configurations
• Long version can be adjusted for use with a battery eliminator/splitter
• AirMesh backing provides a comfortable interface against the body
• Stretch fabric helps retain the radio and accommodate the GPS antenna
• Ambidextrous design allows attachment on either the left or right side of body armour
• AN/PRC 148 MBITR radios can also fit, although side connector options are not usable
