The SORD Weapon Retention Catch is designed to provide a convenient way to secure and temporarily stow a weapon when it needs to be kept out of the way during work tasks. Its compact design combines a Kydex insert with elastic retention to hold the weapon securely while keeping it readily accessible when required.
A Velcro retention system helps keep the weapon positioned within the catch, while the integrated pull tab provides a straightforward release point. The hardened elastic section stretches over the weapon to provide a firm hold and minimise unwanted movement. The catch attaches to compatible MOLLE/PALS equipment using two attachment points, allowing it to be integrated into an existing tactical load carriage system.
