The Vertex 2P from OZtrail is ideal for warm or tropical conditions, as the breathable inner will allow air to flow through the tent and keep your space feeling fresh. If you’re a solo traveller that likes the extra space, this model will give you plenty of room, otherwise, this cosy tent will be just enough for two.
Sometimes it can be a little crowded if you’ve got your gear in your tent with you, but with the Vertex 2, you can easily store your gear in the vestibules on either side of the tent. The cross-pole frame creates additional head height and will help keep everything sturdy in a gust of wind. If the weather turns, the seams of the fly are heat taped and have a high waterhead rating – so you’ll stay nice and dry inside your shelter.
The last thing you want to do it misplace your phone or GPS when you’re hiking in the middle of nowhere, so keep your valuables out of the way using the detachable gear loft. The Vertex is a simple and easy to use the tent that’ll be great shelter to bring out when the weather warms up.
