Cape York Map by HEMA

The HEMA Cape York Map is a practical navigation and trip-planning resource for four-wheel-drive travellers exploring Cape York Peninsula in Queensland. Designed for people travelling through remote areas, it provides useful mapping details to help plan routes, identify camping destinations and prepare for journeys along the region's network of unsealed roads and off-road tracks.

The map includes the Old Telegraph Track, a well-known Cape York 4WD route, along with detailed four-wheel-drive tracks, national parks and camping areas. GPS-surveyed roads and tracks, together with marked GPS positions, provide additional reference information when preparing an itinerary. A map key and road classifications help users interpret the information displayed and compare available routes.

Printed on waterproof paper, this map is suited to use as part of a touring kit where maps may be handled in outdoor conditions. It is a useful reference for planning remote-area travel before departure and checking route information along the way.
