The broad bearded axe head allows the user's hand to grip close behind the cutting edge for improved control during carving, shaping and detailed woodworking tasks. Forged from hot-forged 1055 carbon steel, the blade delivers excellent toughness and impact resistance, making it well suited to repeated chopping and outdoor use.
