The Buck Knives 284 Bantam BBW is a lightweight folding pocket knife designed for everyday carry, camping and general outdoor tasks. Its compact design combines a drop-point blade with a textured handle, providing a practical cutting tool that is easy to carry in a pocket or keep with outdoor equipment.

The blade is made from 420HC stainless steel, a material Buck uses across its range of practical outdoor knives. The drop-point profile provides a curved cutting edge and a controlled tip suited to general cutting tasks. Thumb studs on both sides of the blade allow convenient one-handed opening for right- or left-handed users.

The black glass-reinforced nylon handle features a textured surface and raised grip ridges to help provide a secure hold during use. A mid-mounted lockback mechanism secures the blade in the open position, while the folding design keeps the knife compact when stored.
