Unlike household detergents, Tech Wash cleans without leaving behind water-attracting residues that can compromise breathability or water repellency. Regular cleaning with Tech Wash helps revive the Durable Water Repellency (DWR) already present on your garments and prepares them for reproofing with Nikwax waterproofing treatments such as TX.Direct® or SoftShell Proof when required.
Suitable for all waterproof and breathable clothing, Tech Wash is ideal for jackets, pants, gaiters and outdoor apparel made with technical fabrics including GORE-TEX®, eVent®, Pertex®, Sympatex® and many other waterproof membranes. The easy wash-in formula cleans thoroughly while helping extend the life and performance of your outdoor gear.
