White Zulu Pith Helmet by COMMANDO

The White Zulu Pith Helmet, historically known as the British Foreign Service Helmet or Colonial Pattern helmet, is an iconic piece of 19th-century military headgear famously worn by British troops during the Anglo-Zulu War of 1879.

The Design: It features a tall, steep dome shape with a sloping brim designed to protect the wearer's eyes and neck from harsh tropical sunlight.
True to its name, the original helmets were constructed from the lightweight, spongy inner pith of specific trees (often sourced from Vietnam or India) and covered in durable white cotton cloth.
