AC20 Compass by ATKA

The ATKA AC20 Professional Folding Compass is a versatile navigation tool designed for hiking, camping, bushwalking and outdoor exploration. Its folding design protects the compass when packed and makes it convenient to carry in a backpack or navigation kit. With features for taking bearings, reading maps and assessing terrain, it is suited to outdoor users who prefer traditional compass navigation.

The liquid-encapsulated global needle is designed for use across different regions of the world. A movable bezel and index line help users set and follow bearings, while the east and west declination scale assists with accounting for the difference between magnetic north and grid or true north when navigating with a map.

The compass also incorporates a clinometer for assessing slope angles and a folding sighting mirror to assist with taking bearings over a distance. Luminous markings on the direction line and north needle improve visibility in low-light conditions, while the ruled baseplate and meridian lines support map work. A lanyard is included for convenient carrying.
