As with all US Army wet weather gear from this era these ponchos have a very distinctive smell of Isovaleric Acid (same smell as Parmesan Cheese).  As these are Military surplus and are at least 40 years old the waterproofing will have come off and some of the extra waterproofing around the neck has turned to a white powder.  These are sold for display or collection only.

Please note: as these are military surplus and will have wear and tear from use by the military.  The may have stains and repairs, but these are all part and parcel of military surplus with genuine patina.  There will be some colour, quality and style variation to the image shown as every item is different.
